A typical blowout takes 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your hair length and texture.
With proper care, most blowouts last 3-5 days. Using dry shampoo and avoiding excess moisture can help extend its lifespan. Note, that everyone’s hair is different and blowout longevity may vary.
That depends!
If you are getting a blowout, that includes a professional wash, so just come as you are.
If you are getting an updo or formal style, it is recommended to come with 1-2 day old hair.
Absolutely! Our stylists are trained to work with all hair types and will customize the technique for your texture.

Appointments are recommended to ensure availability, but we do accept walk-ins when possible.
At Sweet Southern Blowouts, we understand that life happens, and sometimes appointments need to be adjusted. In order to best serve our clients and respect the time of our team, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service total.
Guests who fail to show up for their appointment without any notice ("no call, no show") will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.
We know your time is valuable, and so is ours. These policies allow us to fill your reserved time with other guests who are eager to visit us.
